Better late than never

So this was, more or less, the scene we observed when we first walked into the current Truman's location. A few days before this shot was taken, there were old Beni Hana cook tops still in place and, unbelievably, carpet on the floor that had trapped 40 years of hibachi grease spatter.

Downstairs in the kitchen, there were still a couple of dishes in the sink. Guess there is no need to wash the last dish if you are never coming back. Needless to say were were very grossed out. But thanks to the vision of our architect, Larry Bogdanow, we continued to investigate the possibility of this being our flagship location. He had a picture in his head and he described it to us. It sounded good so we went with it.

And this is what his vision was. Next up, catching everyone up on the last 3.5 years of operations.
